Tipu’s Drop

Located on a hilltop of a cliff, Tipu’s Drop is 600 m above the elevated ground. You can stand there to get a bird’s eye view of the entire place. On the side of the hilltop, you will encounter the Yoganandesshwara temple. Built by the Chola kings, it is a sight to behold. Tipu’s Drop was used as a punishment for prisoners in the olden times. Wrongdoers were pushed off the cliff but now this place is a must-visit for nature lovers.
